Introduction

Filmlicious is a festival that celebrates the art of cinema. It was founded in 2000 and has been running ever since, with each edition hosted by a different city. The 2019 festival will take place in Madrid from 3 to 6 July 2019, so if you’re planning on visiting Spain then make sure you book tickets now!

What is Filmlicious?

Filmlicious is a film festival in the UK. It’s held over 4 days, and it takes place in London, Birmingham and Manchester. The films are shown at cinemas – with tickets available to buy online or from the cinema box office on the day of screening.

Filmlicious is free to enter if you arrive before 12pm on Saturday (you can still get your tickets if you arrive after this time).

The festival features short films, feature films and documentaries. There are also screenings of music videos and animation. The festival takes place in the summer each year – with the exact dates and venues changing each time. You can find out more about Filmlicious on their website or by following them on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.

How does it work?

Filmlicious is a service that allows you to watch films in cinemas, on your phone or tablet and even from your own home.

The service works by allowing users to buy tickets online and then download them straight to their device for viewing later on. This means that you don’t have to wait around for the film to start before going into the cinema; instead, all of your hard work can be done beforehand!

The service is available in over 500 cinemas across the UK and Ireland. You can check out which cinemas are supported by Delicious on their website.

  • The best films to see on Filmlicious are:
  • Call Me by Your Name (2017)
  • Lady Bird (2017)
  • Lady Bird is one of my favorite movies ever, so I had to include it here! If you haven’t seen this yet, do yourself a favor and go see it immediately! It’s hilarious and heartwarming at the same time. I’m obsessed with Saoirse Ronan’s performance as well as Laurie Metcalf’s portrayal of her mother. You’ll fall in love with this little lady bird right away!

The Shape of Water (2017) This is a love story unlike any other. It’s a fairy tale that will make you feel like you’re in another world! The Shape of Water has won several awards including Best Picture at the 90th Academy Awards, so you know it’s good!
